Game design is one of my primary passions, and I love exploring it within the context of both digital and tabletop games. Here are the projects that I have finished!
AlphaNoodles
AlphaNoodles is a word-puzzle mobile game about finding hidden messages in your pasta. It is the first game that my older brother and I published under the βBullet Squidβ brand. While technically in development for 4 years, it was very on-and-off, and probably closer to 1 year of real development time. I also recorded a retrospective video detailing lessons learned while working on the project.
Tasty Humans
Tasty HumansΒ is a 30-60 minute, tile-laying, pattern-building game for 1-4 players who take on the role of fantasy monsters trying to appease their insatiable appetites. Originally designed for a 48-hour game jam with the theme "they tasted quite delicious," I worked withΒ Pangea Games over the following year to bring the game to Kickstarter where it funded at over 250% of our goal. If you enjoy games where you get to work on your own puzzle and spatially organize tiles to score patterns, you would probably like Tasty Humans! Check out the links below for more details.
Cannon of Wonders
A remake of a game I made when I was 16, Cannon of Wonders brings the joy of launching random objects to mobile with updated features and graphics all created by my wife Mary! A luck-filled diversion that is more entertaining and addicting than it has any right to be. Check out the download page for more info!
